Terrace

The Terrace is an open-air, outdoor event space located within the ZEN Medicity Hotel & Serviced Apartments property in Gurugram. As with any outdoor venue, the experience can be influenced by weather conditions, particularly across different seasons in the NCR region. Hosts are advised to discuss weather contingency options with the venue team when planning their event.

Specific capacity figures for the Terrace — whether for seated dining, a standing cocktail setup, or a hybrid arrangement — are best confirmed directly with the ZEN Medicity events team, as the configuration can vary depending on the event format. The open layout does allow for flexible seating and standing arrangements to suit different group sizes.

ZEN Medicity Hotel & Serviced Apartments is a full-service hospitality property, and catering arrangements for Terrace events are typically coordinated through the hotel. Whether external caterers are permitted is a detail that should be clarified with the events team at the time of enquiry, as policies may vary by event type and size.

Yes, the Terrace's open-air setting and flexible layout make it a popular choice for pre-wedding celebrations, including mehendi ceremonies and cocktail evenings. The space can be dressed with floral arrangements, lighting, and thematic décor to suit the occasion. The hotel's events team can assist in coordinating vendors and setup to bring the host's vision to life.

Parking is available at the ZEN Medicity Hotel & Serviced Apartments property, making it convenient for guests who arrive by private vehicle. For large events where parking requirements may be significant, it is advisable to inform the events team in advance so that arrangements can be made accordingly.

The property is located in Gurugram, Haryana, in close proximity to Medanta — The Medicity, one of the NCR's most recognisable multi-speciality hospitals, which serves as a useful landmark for navigation. The location provides good road connectivity to South Delhi and various commercial and residential areas across Gurugram.

The ZEN Medicity property in Gurugram is accessible via the Delhi–Gurgaon Expressway and benefits from the broader Metro connectivity available across the NCR. Guests travelling from Delhi or other parts of the NCR can reach the property by private vehicle, app-based cabs, or Metro followed by a short road transfer. The hotel's front-desk team can assist with transport coordination for event attendees if required.

Yes, ZEN Medicity operates as both a hotel and a serviced-apartment property, which means overnight accommodation is available on-site for event guests who need to stay. This is a practical advantage for weddings, multi-day corporate programmes, or any event drawing attendees from outside Gurugram. Room and apartment availability should be confirmed with the reservations team well in advance for large events.

The hotel's events team can assist in arranging audio-visual support for Terrace events, including sound systems and lighting. Because the Terrace is an open-air space, specific AV configurations may differ from those in enclosed banquet halls, so it is best to discuss technical requirements — such as microphones, projectors, or DJ setups — directly with the team during the planning stage.

The open layout of the Terrace lends itself well to bespoke décor, including floral installations, fairy-light canopies, themed centrepieces, and custom lighting. Event hosts can work with the hotel's events team or bring in approved external decorators to create a setup that matches their theme. Details on vendor access and any décor restrictions should be confirmed with the venue directly.

Gurugram's climate can vary considerably across seasons, and rain or heat can be a factor for outdoor events. Prospective hosts are strongly encouraged to discuss weather contingency plans — such as temporary canopies, tented covers, or backup indoor spaces — with the ZEN Medicity events team at the time of booking. Having a contingency arrangement in place is particularly advisable for monsoon-season events.

Enquiries about availability, pricing, and event packages for the Terrace can be directed to the ZEN Medicity Hotel & Serviced Apartments events or sales team through the property's official website at zenmedicity.com. Providing details such as the event date, expected guest count, and type of occasion will help the team offer a tailored proposal.

As an open-air rooftop or terrace space within a mixed-use hospitality property, there may be guidelines around music levels and event end times, particularly to ensure comfort for hotel and apartment guests. Hosts planning events with live music, DJs, or amplified sound should check applicable restrictions with the events team before confirming their booking.

The Terrace is well suited to corporate occasions such as evening networking events, sundowners, informal team gatherings, and product launches, offering a change of scenery from standard conference-room settings. The combination of an open-air ambience and the full-service support of a hotel property makes it practical for corporate hosts who need catering, AV, and hospitality all in one place. Specific corporate packages and setup options can be discussed with the ZEN Medicity events team.
