About The Roseate, New Delhi

Forty-three acres of curated landscape in Samalka make The Roseate, New Delhi one of the capital's most distinctive resort addresses for private and corporate events, offering a rare combination of open-air grounds and climate-controlled interiors within Delhi's city limits. Awarded the title of India's Leading Resort at the World Travel Awards, this independently positioned luxury property operates under the Roseate Hotels & Resorts portfolio and draws event planners specifically for its low-density, park-like setting — an atmosphere that few urban venues in Delhi can replicate at a comparable scale.

Event Spaces and Capacities Across a Garden Resort Setting

The property's primary indoor ballroom, The Rose Room, accommodates up to 300 guests in a floating cocktail configuration and can be adapted into theatre-style or banquet-round layouts for conferences and gala dinners. A dedicated pre-function area adjoins the ballroom, offering natural light and garden views that ease guest flow during registration or cocktail hours. Outdoor event lawns extend the usable footprint considerably, allowing planners to design multi-zone event experiences — ceremony, dining, and after-party — without shuttling guests between locations. Wedding venue in South Delhi searches frequently surface this location, and the spatial separation between indoor and outdoor zones is a measurable planning advantage.

Weddings and Corporate Retreats Hosted at a Scale of 300

For wedding planners, the combination of manicured lawns and the Rose Room creates a natural two-phase event structure: outdoor pheras or cocktail receptions followed by an air-conditioned seated dinner. The kitchen operates in-house, with menus spanning Indian regional cuisine, continental, and live station formats. For corporate groups, the property supports MICE briefs through dedicated coordination staff and AV infrastructure including LED display capability and PA systems suited to theatre-style sessions. One contextual nuance worth noting for planners: at a maximum PAX of 300, The Roseate is calibrated for intimate-scale luxury events rather than large-format conventions or mass gatherings, which directly informs the quality of service-to-guest ratios on the day.

Recognition That Reflects Operational Standards for Planners

The World Travel Awards recognition as India's Leading Resort is a planner-relevant signal — not merely a trophy. Properties that maintain this recognition cycle consistently demonstrate audited standards in service delivery, facility upkeep, and guest experience, all of which translate directly to event-day reliability. The Roseate Hotels & Resorts brand itself carries a strong reputation across its Delhi NCR and Bengaluru locations, and the Samalka property benefits from group-level procurement in F&B, linen, and event coordination staffing, reducing last-mile execution risk for planners managing complex multi-vendor briefs.

Planning Your Event at This South Delhi Resort Property

The Roseate, New Delhi is listed on Spalba with confirmed details on capacity configurations, event space dimensions, and vendor policies — information that supports an accurate RFP before a site visit is scheduled. Planners evaluating this location for a corporate offsite, intimate wedding, or social milestone event will find the guest-to-space ratio and the award-verified service standards among the strongest decision factors. The Spalba listing allows direct inquiry submission to the property's events team, enabling a structured response to briefs rather than an open-ended first call.

Qutb Minar

Qutb Minar

The Qutb Minar, also spelled Qutub Minar and Qutab Minar, is a minaret and victory tower comprising the Qutb complex, which lies at the site of Delhi's oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, founded by the Tomar Rajputs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of South Delhi, India. It was mostly built between 1199 and 1220, contains 399 steps, and is one of the most-frequented heritage spots in the city. After defeating Prithviraj Chauhan, the last Hindu ruler of Delhi before the Ghurid conquest of the region, Qutab-ud-din Aibak initiated the construction of the victory tower, but only managed to finish the first level. It was to mark the beginning of Islamic rule in the region. Successive dynasties of the Delhi Sultanate continued the construction, and, in 1368, Firuz Shah Tughlaq rebuilt the top parts and added a cupola.
