The Hyderabad Lawn is an open-air event venue set within the grounds of Novotel Hyderabad Airport, a full-service hotel located at Shamshabad — just minutes from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Expansive and versatile, the lawn offers the kind of natural, al fresco setting that brings warmth and visual elegance to any occasion. The open sky and generous spread of green create a relaxed yet sophisticated ambience that is difficult to replicate indoors, making it one of the more distinctive event spaces the property has to offer.
As an outdoor venue, the Hyderabad Lawn lends itself to events that benefit from an unhurried, open-air atmosphere. Whether lit up with fairy lights for an evening celebration or set under a canopy for a daytime gathering, the space takes on a different character with every setup — which is part of its enduring appeal for clients who want creative freedom in their event design.
The Hyderabad Lawn is well suited to a wide range of social and corporate events. Wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, sangeet nights, and mehendi functions all translate naturally to the open-air format, where the lawn provides a generous canvas for floral décor, draping, lighting installations, and themed setups. The breadth of the space makes it practical for large-format social celebrations where guests need room to move, mingle, and be entertained.
On the corporate side, the lawn accommodates product launches, networking evenings, outdoor team-building events, and branded evening receptions where the open setting adds an informal, engaging edge. The hotel's experienced events team supports the planning process end to end, coordinating catering, technical requirements, and vendor access so that organisers can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.
Being part of Novotel Hyderabad Airport, the lawn also benefits from the full service infrastructure of a four-star international hotel brand — including professional banqueting staff, in-house catering with multi-cuisine capabilities, and access to the hotel's indoor function spaces should a hybrid indoor-outdoor layout be required.
Novotel Hyderabad Airport's position in Shamshabad places it in one of Hyderabad's most strategically convenient locations for event guests travelling from outside the city. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is in close proximity, making the venue an obvious choice for events with a significant number of outstation or international attendees who benefit from not having to travel far after arrival.
The hotel itself offers on-site accommodation, so guests can be housed within the same property — a practical advantage for multi-day celebrations such as destination weddings or corporate retreats that span more than one evening. The Shamshabad location, while on the city's outskirts, is well connected to central Hyderabad via the Hyderabad–Bangalore National Highway, and the surrounding area has grown considerably as a hospitality and business hub around the airport corridor. For event planners looking for a venue that combines outdoor elegance with airport-proximate convenience and full hotel support, the Hyderabad Lawn presents a compelling case.
