The Party Lawn at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center is an expansive open-air event space set within one of Bengaluru's most prominent five-star hospitality addresses. Located in Whitefield — the city's established IT and business hub — the lawn offers a refreshingly green, open setting that contrasts with the sleek corporate landscape surrounding it. The space carries the warmth and versatility that outdoor venues are prized for, while being anchored by the full service infrastructure of a Sheraton Grand property. Whether the occasion calls for fairy-lit canopies, mandap setups, or elegant cocktail arrangements under the open sky, the Party Lawn provides a blank canvas that event designers genuinely appreciate.
The Party Lawn is well suited to a wide range of celebrations and gatherings. Wedding functions — from mehendi and sangeet evenings to receptions and cocktail parties — are a natural fit for the space, where the outdoor setting lends itself to festive décor and large guest counts. Social events such as milestone birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, and family get-togethers also translate well here. On the corporate side, the lawn accommodates informal team events, networking evenings, product launches with outdoor staging, and hospitality functions where the ambience needs to feel less boardroom and more celebratory. The Sheraton Grand's banqueting and events team works alongside clients to tailor the setup — seating configurations, F&B style, and décor approach — to the specific nature of each event. In-house catering backed by the hotel's culinary team means guests benefit from the same food and beverage standards the property is known for across its indoor venues.
Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield sits on ITPL Main Road in Whitefield, placing it within easy reach of the International Tech Park Bengaluru (ITPB) and the broader Whitefield business district. The location makes it a practical choice for corporate hosts whose guests or delegates are based in the east Bengaluru tech corridor. Kempegowda International Airport is accessible via the BIAL corridor, and the property's scale — it is among the larger convention-oriented hotel properties in this part of the city — means that guests travelling from across Bengaluru or from out of town have access to on-site accommodation alongside the event space. The hotel's dedicated events and banqueting team, valet and parking facilities, and the full suite of Sheraton Grand amenities all support seamless event execution. For planners weighing an outdoor lawn against an indoor ballroom, the Party Lawn's position within a full-service five-star property means that weather contingencies, AV support, and catering logistics are all managed under one roof — an advantage that standalone outdoor venues cannot easily replicate.

The Party Lawn is suited to a broad range of events including wedding functions such as sangeet evenings, mehendi ceremonies, cocktail parties, and receptions, as well as social celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries. On the corporate side, it works well for networking evenings, product launches, and informal team events. The Sheraton Grand's events team can advise on setup options tailored to the specific occasion.
The Party Lawn is an open-air space, which makes it ideal for festive and celebratory events but also means it is subject to weather conditions. As the venue sits within the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, the property's indoor banquet and convention spaces can serve as a contingency in the event of unexpected rain or extreme weather. It is advisable to discuss contingency arrangements directly with the events team at the time of booking.
Exact capacity figures for the Party Lawn depend on the seating or standing configuration chosen for the event. Prospective hosts should contact the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield events team directly to confirm current capacity numbers for their preferred setup style.
Yes, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield provides in-house catering services backed by the hotel's culinary team. Guests at the Party Lawn benefit from the same food and beverage standards available across the property's other venues. Specific menus, cuisine styles, and F&B packages can be discussed and customised with the banqueting team.
As a five-star hotel property, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield typically operates with its own in-house catering team. Whether external catering vendors are permitted is subject to the hotel's policy, and hosts should confirm this directly with the events team before making third-party arrangements.
The Party Lawn is a strong option for wedding receptions and pre-wedding functions in Whitefield, offering an open-air setting that accommodates traditional décor elements such as mandaps, floral canopies, and lighting installations. Its location within the Sheraton Grand means wedding hosts have access to on-site guest accommodation, professional event staff, and in-house catering — all significant conveniences for multi-day wedding programmes.
The Party Lawn functions as a flexible canvas for event décor, accommodating a wide range of setups including themed lighting, stage structures, floral arrangements, and various seating configurations. The hotel's events team can coordinate with décor vendors or provide guidance on approved suppliers. Specific décor policies and setup timelines should be confirmed with the banqueting department.
Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield is a full-service convention hotel, and AV and technical support is available for events across the property. Whether specific AV equipment — such as outdoor screens, PA systems, or stage lighting — is included in the Party Lawn's setup or arranged separately should be discussed with the events team during the planning stage.
The Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center has parking facilities on the property. Hosts expecting a large number of driving guests should inform the events team in advance so that adequate arrangements, including valet services if available, can be confirmed.
The hotel is located on ITPL Main Road in Whitefield, Bengaluru, within close proximity to International Tech Park Bengaluru (ITPB). The area is well connected by road from central Bengaluru and other parts of the city, and Kempegowda International Airport is accessible via the BIAL corridor. Guests can also reach Whitefield via cab aggregators, and the hotel's address can be shared with attendees for GPS navigation.
Yes, as the Party Lawn sits within the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, on-site guest rooms are available for attendees travelling from out of town or requiring overnight stays. This is particularly useful for wedding hosts whose families or out-of-station guests need accommodation. Room block arrangements for event bookings can be discussed with the hotel's reservations and events teams.
Kempegowda International Airport is accessible from the Whitefield area via the BIAL corridor. The exact travel time varies depending on traffic and route chosen. Guests flying in for events are advised to check current road conditions and allow adequate travel time, or to arrange airport transfers through the hotel.
Outdoor events in Bengaluru are subject to local municipal noise regulations, which typically include restrictions on amplified music after certain hours. The Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield's events team will be best placed to advise on any applicable curfew timings or sound level guidelines that apply to the Party Lawn. It is recommended to clarify this during the initial booking discussion.
Availability and pricing for the Party Lawn can be explored by contacting the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield events and banqueting team directly, either through the official Marriott website or by calling the hotel. The team typically works with prospective hosts to understand the event type, guest count, and date requirements before providing a tailored proposal.
Given that the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield is a large convention-oriented hotel, it is well positioned to accommodate multi-space event programmes where the Party Lawn is used alongside indoor ballrooms or meeting halls. This is particularly relevant for weddings or corporate events that span multiple functions over one or more days. The events team can help design a programme that makes use of both the outdoor and indoor inventory of the property.
